Phil Foden is making the most of his summer break by indulging in a jewelry shopping trip with his girlfriend, Rebecca Cooke, in Cheshire. This outing comes after the Manchester City star was left out of England's World Cup squad.

Foden, 26, was not selected for the squad that traveled to the U.S. earlier this month. He had previously cited "mental fatigue" as a reason for his inconsistent form during the recent season. The midfielder registered 10 goals and seven assists for Manchester City, but the England manager opted for other players like Morgan Rogers, Jude Bellingham, and Eberechi Eze.

Despite his personal disappointment, Foden expressed his support for the England team, stating he would be watching the tournament from home and hoping for their success. His Manchester City teammate, Nico O'Reilly, who is part of the World Cup squad, mentioned that Foden was "gutted" to miss out.

Foden and Cooke have been together since their teenage years and are parents to three children: Ronnie, born in 2019; True, born in 2021; and a second son born in June 2024. The couple has been a subject of engagement rumors, particularly after Cooke was seen wearing a large diamond ring last year, reportedly given to her during a New Year's Eve trip to Paris.

Phil and Rebecca have been childhood sweethearts since their teenage years, after meeting at a party. They are parents to three children.

Foden is scheduled to return to Manchester City for pre-season training on July 15, with the team set to travel to Asia for friendlies in early August.
