New England Patriots fans have voiced their frustration after Tom Brady was not included on the official list of alumni celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Super Bowl LI victory. The team will reunite at Gillette Stadium this weekend during the Patriots' game against the Green Bay Packers.

Brady, who led the Patriots to their historic comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons, will be present at the stadium as part of his broadcasting duties for Fox. However, his name is notably absent from the 26-man alumni list.

This omission has drawn criticism from fans online, who question why Brady cannot briefly participate in the festivities. Many pointed out that other Fox broadcasters who were part of the team, such as Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, are listed and will attend the event. Gronkowski is also set to be inducted into the Patriots' Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Fans expressed their disappointment, with comments like "So Edelman and Gronk who will be doing pre/post game for FOX can come out, but Brady can’t? Noted." and "Anyone remember who the QB of that team was? Wonder if they could find him this weekend?" One fan lamented that Brady "really lied when he said ‘fans will see me around a lot more once I’m retired.’"

Brady's last appearance at Gillette Stadium was in August 2025 for the unveiling of his statue. He has spoken about his return, telling Colin Cowherd on FS1 that it "will certainly be emotional" to be back in a stadium where he has so many memories.

Head coach Bill Belichick is also reportedly set to be absent from the celebratory event.
