The 2026 INDYCAR season continues with the inaugural Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham, taking place on a new street circuit in downtown Markham, Ontario. The race is scheduled to air on Sunday, Aug. 16, with coverage beginning at noon ET on FOX and FOX One.

Practice and qualifying sessions will precede the race, with coverage starting on Friday, Aug. 14, on FOX Sports networks.

Alex Palou enters the event as the most recent race winner, having secured victory at the OnlyBulls Grand Prix of Portland on Aug. 9. The Markham street circuit marks a new venue for the series, meaning there is no defending champion for this specific track. The event continues INDYCAR's long-standing tradition in Ontario, which previously held 39 races at Exhibition Place in Toronto. Pato O'Ward was the winner of the final Toronto street circuit race in 2025.

The Streets of Markham circuit is a temporary 2.19-mile track featuring 12 turns, a double-sided pit lane, fast straightaways, and technical sections. The inaugural race is slated for 90 laps and a distance of 197.1 miles.

Fans can stream the race, practices, and qualifying live on FOX One, with three days of free viewing available. The full weekend schedule, including practice and qualifying times, is as follows (all times ET):
