Odell Beckham Jr. has brought back his signature platinum blond hair color as the New York Giants prepare for their season opener against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. The wide receiver was seen in the Giants' locker room on Wednesday with his hair dyed to its iconic shade, having sported his natural brown during training camp.

Beckham, who is returning to the field after a period of battling for a spot on the 53-man roster, spoke briefly about his hair, smiling and stating, "You know what time it is." The matchup against Dallas carries significance, as it was during a Nov. 23, 2014 game against the same opponent that Beckham famously made his one-handed, over-the-head catch.

The Giants' full 53-man roster participated in practice on Wednesday. This included players managing injuries, such as wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee), tight end Theo Johnson (shoulder), defensive tackle Shelby Harris (Achilles), left tackle Andrew Thomas (knee), and center Bryan Hudson (knee).

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer indicated that the team is preparing for a variety of offensive packages from the Cowboys, noting their ability to strategically deploy different players. "They've got very specific people that they do very specific things with," Schottenheimer said. "Malik Nabers is different than Odell. You have to know, oh, Cam Skattebo is in the game [or] Tyrone Tracy Jr. is in the game. They do a nice job of shuffling their pieces around. We have plans for different groupings. They definitely challenge you with that."

Additionally, the team has secured backup quarterback Jameis Winston with a two-year, $13 million contract through 2028. Head coach John Harbaugh expressed confidence in Winston, stating, "First of all, to me, Jameis is a really good quarterback. I was impressed with the way he played in the preseason. Not just that, though. Everybody in the circle knows what Jameis brings to the team, right? He’s a leader, and he’s one of those guys that drives everything forward, makes everybody around him better every single day. At some point in time, everybody’s going to need to play. So, I feel very confident and very excited that he is still with us."
