Odell Beckham Jr. is returning to the New York Giants, a team where he first achieved NFL stardom. The 33-year-old wide receiver is expected to be included on the Giants' 53-man roster for the upcoming season.

Beckham missed the entire 2025 NFL season after being suspended for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. He was released by the Miami Dolphins in December 2024 and subsequently remained a free agent. This return to New York marks a homecoming for Beckham, who initially rose to prominence with the Giants in 2014.

Despite recent years marked by injuries, including an ACL tear suffered during the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl LVI victory, Beckham appeared healthy during training camp. He demonstrated his signature one-handed catches during drills and showed flashes of his former speed and ability to beat coverage downfield.

During the preseason, Beckham recorded 76 receiving yards on seven catches from 13 targets, even on some inaccurately thrown passes. His performance in camp and preseason games has apparently been enough to secure a spot on the roster.
