Odell Beckham Jr. will once again wear the No. 13 jersey for the New York Giants, the number he donned during his breakout years with the team. The switch comes after his teammate, Jalin Hyatt, changed his number to 81.

Beckham wore No. 13 for his first five seasons with the Giants, establishing himself as a star. He continued to wear the number during his stints with the Cleveland Browns. During his Super Bowl-winning season with the Los Angeles Rams and subsequent brief periods with the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins, he wore No. 3. "Everything is now as it was," a statement attributed to Beckham said, signaling the completion of this jersey number transition.

Beckham had been wearing No. 3 throughout training camp and the preseason, even after making the Giants' 53-man roster. Hyatt had occupied the No. 13 prior to the change. With Hyatt now in No. 81, the path was cleared for Beckham's return to his signature number.
