Nottingham Forest has identified Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders as a primary transfer target, with a £55 million bid being considered. Reijnders, who joined Manchester City last summer from AC Milan, is understood to be open to a move to the City Ground in pursuit of consistent first-team action.
Reijnders made 47 appearances across all competitions for Manchester City in the past season, though not all were starts. Despite interest from Atletico Madrid earlier in the transfer window, City's valuation of around £60 million led the Spanish club to pursue other targets. Manchester City originally paid AC Milan £46.5 million for the 28-year-old.
Manchester City is also reportedly nearing a deal to acquire 18-year-old Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille and has already signed Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest for £116 million. The club also anticipates potential bids from Real Madrid for Rodri, while Barcelona is also considering an offer for the player. Nottingham Forest continues its efforts to secure defender Ousmane Diomande from Sporting and is among the clubs interested in Chelsea forward Liam Delap.
