The Little League World Series championship game is set to feature a matchup between Nevada and Curaçao. Both teams enter the final undefeated, with Nevada representing the United States and Curaçao competing internationally. The game is scheduled for Aug. 30 at 3 p.m. ET.

This marks the second consecutive year a team from Nevada has reached the final. Last year, a team from Las Vegas made the championship game, while this year's Nevada contingent hails from Henderson. Henderson has the opportunity to become the first team from Nevada to win the Little League Baseball World Series (LLBWS).

In this year's U.S. Championship game, Nevada's Carsynn Meyer made history by becoming the first girl to play and record an RBI in that game. Meyer and teammate Kinley Rasmus are among the fourth pair of girls to compete in the same Little League World Series.

Curaçao secured its spot in the final by defeating Japan 4-0 in the international championship. Pitcher Jaymiëll Martina was a key player in that victory, striking out 12 batters over 5.2 innings.

The championship game will be broadcast on ABC. For those without cable, the game can be streamed for free through a trial of DIRECTV. The service offers a five-day free trial and includes channels like ABC through its MySports and MyNews genre packs.
