Karolina Muchova has advanced to the Wimbledon final after a dramatic three-set victory over Coco Gauff in a match decided by an epic tie-break. Muchova recovered from a match point down to defeat Gauff 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(8) on Centre Court.

The first set saw Gauff struggle with unforced errors, including a double fault and missed forehands, which allowed Muchova to build a double-break lead. The Czech player maintained a high level of play to serve out the set.

In the second set, a re-energized Gauff came out with more aggression. She broke Muchova's serve on her ninth opportunity with a cross-court backhand winner. Momentum shifted as Gauff won the next four games to force a deciding set.

The final set was a tense affair, with both players delivering high-quality groundstrokes and quick net play before a crowd of 15,000. The match ultimately went to a tie-break. Gauff fought back from 4-1 down to level at 6-6. Muchova received a time violation warning at 8-8, immediately hitting a shot long to give Gauff a match point.

However, Gauff missed her opportunity, hitting the ball into the net while approaching the net. Muchova then slipped when presented with her own match point, but Gauff could not capitalize. The American eventually sealed the match for Muchova when Gauff sent a forehand into the net after an intense two hours and 35 minutes.

Despite appearing to be in pain and clutching her ankle during the final set, Muchova celebrated her victory. The win marks a significant comeback for Muchova, who was sidelined for 10 months last season due to a wrist injury. She has defeated three former Grand Slam champions en route to the final.
