Trabzonspor has officially confirmed the signing of Mohamed Salah, formerly of Liverpool, on a two-year contract. Salah arrived in Istanbul earlier in the week and was greeted by fans of the Turkish club. While he was seen in Trabzonspor kit and addressed supporters, the club had previously stated that negotiations were ongoing.

The formalities of the transfer have now been completed, with Salah undergoing a medical and signing his contract. According to reports citing Turkish media, Salah is set to earn £14.5 million per season with Trabzonspor. He also reportedly received a signing-on fee of £4.2 million.

Additionally, Turkish media claims suggest Salah will receive 20 percent of the profits from the sale of his team jerseys. The club shop has confirmed that shirts bearing Salah's name and his No. 10 will be available for purchase.
