NBA icon Michael Jordan and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland crossed paths during their respective summer voyages in the Mediterranean Sea.

Haaland shared a photo of the encounter on social media platform X, captioning it simply, "No caption needed." The image shows a smiling Jordan, 63, dressed in casual attire, with Haaland, 26, arm draped around his shoulder. Fans noted that despite Haaland's considerable height of 6 feet 5 inches (1.95 meters), Jordan, listed at 6 feet 6 inches, appeared to be slightly taller in the photograph.

This observation led to various reactions on X, with one user commenting, "Erling you look like a minion next to Jordan." Another user remarked, "I love how athletes could look so tall in their own sport until they stand next to basketball players."

Some fans also commented on Jordan's uncharacteristic display of excitement, with one writing, "I've never seen Jordan smile like this. Everyone loves Haaland."

Michael Jordan is known for his annual summer cruises in the Mediterranean, often aboard his yacht, estimated to be worth $115 million. He is frequently accompanied by notable figures such as David and Victoria Beckham, and Magic Johnson.

Haaland has also been enjoying an extended off-season break, which has included a trip to the South of France. He was seen boarding a boat for an excursion at sea with his brother and friends.

Previously, the Norwegian striker attended a teammate's wedding in Southern Italy, where he was filmed leading guests in a celebration. Earlier in his break, Haaland celebrated his 26th birthday in Sardinia, posting a picture of himself wearing a Viking helmet.

Haaland's break is nearing its end, with his return to Manchester City expected before the Community Shield match against Arsenal on August 16.
