The 2026 Subway Series resumes this weekend as the New York Mets and New York Yankees face off in a three-game set at Yankee Stadium, beginning Friday, September 11.

The Mets hold a slight edge in the season series, having won two of three games against the Yankees in their first meeting in May. Both teams enter the series on winning streaks. The Mets are coming off four consecutive victories, scoring a combined 35 runs in those games, including a recent 15-14 win. The Yankees also enter the series with momentum, bolstered by the return of captain Aaron Judge, who missed 100 days due to a fractured rib.

Prior to Friday's 7:05 p.m. ET first pitch, pregame ceremonies will mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.

Game Schedule and Broadcast Information

The series continues with Game 2 on Saturday, September 12, at 1:35 p.m. ET, and concludes on Sunday, September 13, at 1:35 p.m. ET.

Locally, the games will be broadcast on SNY for Mets fans and YES for Yankees fans. The second game will also be available on MLB Network for viewers outside the New York market.
