All Elite Wrestling's (AEW) annual Blood and Guts event featured a particularly grueling women's match, where competitor Megan Bayne sustained significant bleeding but continued fighting. The match, held within a steel cage, saw Bayne face off against Kris Statlander.
From early in the contest, Bayne was visibly bleeding from her head after taking a chair shot. She continued the match, enduring an electric chair drop from Statlander and later being taunted by Willow Nightingale, who pointed out Bayne's bloodied face to the cameras. Bayne’s team, consisting of Kross, Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, and Persephone, ultimately lost to the opposing team of Statlander, Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Alex Windsor, Jamie Hayter, and Queen Aminata. The match concluded when Hart submitted.
Following the event, wrestling legend Mick Foley praised Bayne's performance, calling the match "pure insanity" and expressing respect for all involved. He noted the "hardcore" nature of the women competitors and stated that this match would be a defining moment in Bayne's career.
Bayne has been a notable presence in AEW since her return in 2025. She also participated in the previous year's Blood and Guts match, which was the first time a women's match was featured in the event. Bayne and Kross previously held the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship for 168 days before being dethroned at Revolution.
