Mason Greenwood has reportedly sought a quiet life in Turkey since joining Fenerbahce, attempting to stay out of the spotlight following his departure from Manchester United. After arriving in Istanbul over the summer, the 25-year-old forward has largely kept a low profile, a contrast to the usual attention given to a record transfer.

Greenwood has found a residence in the Sarıyer district, a popular area among footballers known for its gated communities that offer privacy and security. Local reports indicate that teammates like N'Golo Kante and Marco Asensio are among his neighbors in the area, which is situated on the eastern side of the city towards the Black Sea.

Despite the attempts to remain inconspicuous, Greenwood has been active on the field for Fenerbahce. He has contributed 11 goals and assists in 18 appearances for the club, even as the team has experienced a turbulent start to the season. He recently missed a match due to illness but is expected to be available for an upcoming high-profile game against Liverpool.

Greenwood's social media presence is minimal, with his posts primarily consisting of generic action shots after matches. His partner, Harriet Robson, also shares selectively, offering glimpses of their family life that include their two young daughters, but rarely featuring Greenwood prominently.

Fenerbahce fans have reportedly welcomed Greenwood, with a notable lack of opposition to his signing. In his initial press conference, he did not face questions regarding the charges that were dropped in his home country, and he has largely avoided significant interviews outside of brief post-match comments. The move to Turkey appears to have provided a comfortable environment for Greenwood as he navigues his career after leaving Manchester United due to a six-month internal investigation into his conduct following his arrest in early 2022. The charges, which included attempted rape, controlling and coercive behavior, and assault causing actual bodily harm, were subsequently dropped.
