Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk has become a focal point at Wimbledon, not only for her performance but also for her distinctive on-court fashion. The 24-year-old unveiled a new bridal-inspired dress, dubbed the 'Marta Dress 2.0,' designed in partnership with kit sponsor Wilson, which has quickly captivated fans and the media.

This latest design follows the success of her 2024 outfit, a replica of her wedding gown. The 2026 iteration features a performance-ready lace pattern reminiscent of a bride's veil. According to Wilson, the dress is a "sophisticated two-piece construction consisting of a bra, vest and skirt system, accented with technical lace detailing that elevates the look while maintaining the functionality required at the highest levels of the sport." The brand highlighted its durability, noting that "what appears to be delicate, proves to be indestructible with a four-way stretch performance weave."

Marta Kostyuk expressed her surreal feelings about having a dress named after her. "To have a dress named after me, that was envisioned by me, feels absolutely surreal," Kostyuk stated. "Working with the Wilson team, especially Joelle, has been nothing short of amazing- I am able to help create looks that not only look beautiful, but are meant to perform on-court."

The limited-edition "Marta 2.0" dress, priced at £150, has already sold out, indicating its popularity among fans. Kostyuk's 2024 outfit is now part of the collection at the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum.

Mantaining strong form on the grass courts, Kostyuk has advanced in the tournament after defeating Nadia Podoroska and Anna Blinkova. Following her first-round win, she shared a video of herself twirling on court, captioning it "first dance complete," which further amplified the dress's reception.

Fans have praised the outfit, with comments such as "Best outfit in tour" and "The dress of my dreams" circulating online. The dress's design, particularly its double-layer skirt, has been noted for its fluidity and elegance, drawing comparisons to both wedding dresses and ballet attire.

Kostyuk, seeded 12th and ranked world No. 13, is set to face American player Emma Navarro in her upcoming third-round match. Her fashion-forward approach to on-court attire mirrors trends seen with other players at this year's championships, including Naomi Osaka, Taylor Fritz, and Novak Djokovic, who have also showcased outfits inspired by traditional or classic aesthetics.
