New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has declared himself ready to return from knee surgery, expressing strong confidence that he will not only regain his previous form but exceed it.
Nabers, who electrified Giants fans during his rookie season, underwent a "grueling surgery recovery" process. He described the rehabilitation as a period filled with significant effort and emotional challenges.
"I’ve heard a lot of people say it takes a little while for it to feel better, but I put in countless hours of work. I put in many nights. I’ve sat in rooms, cried. I did everything to get to this moment right here," Nabers stated, reflecting on his dedication.
He added, "I feel like when I get out there, I feel like I’ll be better than what I was before." The recovery process was intense, and at times, Nabers feared he might not be able to play again. "I went through everything that I could just to get to this moment. I thought I would probably never run a route again, just how the stuff was going."
Despite the challenges, Nabers' determination has fueled his comeback, and he believes his best performances are still ahead of him.
