Maja Lindelof, wife of Sweden and Aston Villa defender Victor Lindelof, experienced a lively night out in Texas, which included bull riding. She shared images of her evening on social media, depicting a visit to a steakhouse followed by a night at a dance hall and saloon in Dallas.
Lindelof donned a khaki-colored dress and a cowboy hat for the occasion. Videos shared from the night show her attempting to ride a mechanical bull, initially sitting backward before correcting her position. She eventually fell off the bull, losing her hat in the process. She captioned a video of the experience, "Still a bit drunk while posting this, might delete later."
She also shared photos from earlier in the day, including moments at a steakhouse with friends, enjoying the rooftop, hotel pool, food, and cocktails.
During Lindelof's night out, her husband was preparing for Sweden's World Cup match against Japan. The game concluded in a 1-1 draw, which secured advancement for both teams to the knockout stage. This marks Sweden's fourth consecutive World Cup qualification where they have reached the knockout round. The team's best performance was in 1994, when they reached the semifinals.
The Lindelofs married in 2018, and this is their second World Cup tournament together. Following Sweden's advancement to the Round of 32, Maja Lindelof posted a photo with Victor, expressing pride and detailing plans to return home to their three children before potentially bringing them to a future match. Sweden is scheduled to play France on June 30 at MetLife Stadium.
