Liverpool has seen a 50 million pound bid for Brighton's winger Yankuba Minteh rejected, according to reports. The 22-year-old Gambian international has become a target as Liverpool aims to bolster its attacking options on the wing.
Minteh, who joined Brighton from Newcastle for £30 million in 2024, primarily operates on the right wing. He has recorded 10 goals and nine assists in 73 appearances for Brighton. He is currently recovering from a leg injury sustained during a friendly match.
Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has identified strengthening wide attacking positions as a priority for the remainder of the transfer window, particularly following the departure of Mohamed Salah. The club is actively exploring various possibilities in the market.
Earlier in the summer, Liverpool signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34 million. Munoz can play as a winger or in a more central attacking role.
Another player on Liverpool's radar is Paris Saint-Germain's Bradley Barcola. However, the clubs remain distant in their valuations of the 23-year-old French winger, who has indicated a willingness to move to Anfield. PSG is reportedly seeking a fee around £145 million, while Liverpool is looking to negotiate closer to the £100 million mark.
