Liverpool have registered interest in Crystal Palace forward Ismaila Sarr as the club seeks to secure two attacking signings before the transfer deadline on Tuesday.

While any immediate move for Sarr appears unlikely, Liverpool are actively assessing various market opportunities. Discussions for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh have encountered difficulties, with the player's valuation at £80 million significantly exceeding Liverpool's initial expectations of around £50 million.

This has prompted Liverpool to explore alternative options, including Sarr. The 28-year-old forward possesses Premier League experience, though he is older than Liverpool's typical transfer targets. Galatasaray previously had a bid of approximately £35 million rejected by Crystal Palace, and Al Hilal has also expressed interest in the player.

Crystal Palace's primary concern is securing a suitable replacement at this stage of the transfer window. The club also anticipates potential interest from Aston Villa and Juventus for their forward Jean-Philippe Mateta.
