A Liverpool fan has been widely condemned on social media after allegedly snatching a shirt from a child after the club's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at Anfield on Saturday. The incident occurred as Nottingham Forest player Alexander Isak was making his way toward the tunnel.

Isak, who had scored in the match, spotted a young fan in the stands and removed his jersey to offer it to the supporter. However, as he prepared to hand over the shirt, another, older fan reportedly intervened and took the jersey from the child's grasp. Footage of the incident, which shows the fan grinning as he leaves the area, has circulated online.

Onlookers reportedly criticized the individual's actions at the time. According to reports, the fan was later seen giving the shirt to the child it was originally intended for. Bystanders are credited with confronting the fan, prompting him to return the jersey.

Social media users expressed outrage over the act. "Don’t these morons realize there are cameras everywhere these days?" one user commented on X. Another wrote, "Grown man steaming a sweaty kit off a child… should be banned from entering Anfield again."

Others praised Isak for his reaction and the intervention of other fans. "Fair play to Isak for seeing that and making sure the scruff gave it back. How embarrassing…" one user said. The match itself ended in a 2-2 draw.
