The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Ziaire Williams, a source confirmed to the California Post on Monday. The deal is reportedly worth around $3 million.
Williams, who stands at 6-foot-9, grew up in Southern California. He played his high school ball at both Notre Dame in Sherman Oaks and Sierra Canyon before committing to play college basketball at Stanford University.
Originally selected as the No. 10 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Williams spent his first three professional seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies. He then played for the Brooklyn Nets over the last two seasons before his current agreement with the Lakers.
