Justin Bieber has been announced as a co-headliner for the inaugural halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. He will perform alongside Madonna, Shakira, and BTS, according to an announcement made on July 8.

This marks a significant stage for Bieber's return to live performances, following his appearance at the Coachella music festival earlier this year. The halftime show's lineup also includes Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay.

The event's halftime show is being curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin, who is assembling a roster of global music artists. Shakira, who performed at the tournament's opening ceremony in Mexico City on June 11, has a deep history with the World Cup. She previously released "Waka Waka" for the 2010 tournament and headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2020.

Shakira also serves on the advisory board of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. Alongside Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy, she released the official World Cup anthem for this year, titled "Dai Dai."
