England international Jude Bellingham attended a pre-season friendly match at the Emirates Stadium to watch his younger brother, Jobe, play for Borussia Dortmund against Arsenal. Bellingham was seen in the stands alongside his mother, Denise, as Jobe, 20, played the full 90 minutes of the match.
Jude Bellingham is currently on a three-week sabbatical following the World Cup in North America, where he helped the England team secure third place. His club, Real Madrid, is scheduled to begin training for the new season soon. Before returning to Spain, he made the trip to London to support his brother.
Jobe Bellingham, who joined Dortmund for £32 million last summer, made 45 appearances across all competitions in the previous season without scoring. He is a regular for the England Under-21 team and has been identified as a potential future senior international alongside his brother.
Both Bellingham brothers began their football careers at Birmingham City. The Championship club retired Jude's shirt number, 22, when he departed for Dortmund at age 17 in 2020. He recently attended a pre-season friendly at Birmingham's St Andrew's stadium between Real Madrid and Barcelona, where he was warmly received by the home crowd.
Jude Bellingham is expected to play a significant role for Real Madrid in the upcoming season under returning manager Jose Mourinho. He is due to rejoin the England squad for the next international break in approximately three weeks.
