Retired wrestling star John Cena has revealed a striking new look, debuting a completely bald head after undergoing his second hair transplant procedure. The 17-time champion shared an image from the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta, documenting the moments after his latest treatment.

Cena underwent Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), a procedure where hair follicles are taken from one part of the scalp and transplanted to areas experiencing hair loss. He cited fan reactions and their signs, which playfully suggested a "bald John Cena," as inspiration for seeking hair restoration options. "They pushed me into going to see what my options were," Cena told People magazine in August.

"I now have a routine: red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, conditioner—and I also got a hair transplant last November," he added. Cena expressed regret that societal stigma prevented him from pursuing such procedures sooner, stating, "I hate the fact that if there wasn't so much shame around it, I'd have gotten it done 10 years ago."

While shaving his head was not a requirement for the surgery, Cena felt it offered the best potential for successful results. He described the surgery as life-altering, boosting his confidence and opening doors for his burgeoning acting career. Since his final wrestling match in December, Cena has been more visible in commercials and is pursuing further film roles. He is currently attached to "Matchbox: The Movie," slated for release on October 9, 2026.
