The Philadelphia Eagles have signed defensive tackle Jalen Carter to a new four-year contract worth $152 million, making him the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history. The deal includes $106 million in fully guaranteed money.
Carter, 25, who is a Super Bowl champion and a former first-round NFL Draft pick out of Georgia, faced significant criticism last season. He drew ire when he spat on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott early in the opening game of the year.
