Everton manager David Moyes has indicated that Jack Grealish can still have a future at the club, but he is uncertain about when the player will be available to rejoin the team. Grealish, a loan signing from Manchester City, has missed Everton's last two victories.

He was absent from the squad for Thursday's Carabao Cup win against Newcastle United, a decision attributed to an unauthorized absence from training. Grealish was also unavailable for the Premier League match on Monday, which Everton won 1-0. While the club initially cited a lack of fitness for his absence in the league fixture, Moyes was non-committal when questioned by BBC Sport after the game.

"He's unavailable at the moment and we will make a decision with the club when we think that availability comes back," Moyes said. When pressed on whether the issue was fitness-related, he reiterated, "All I'm giving out is that he is unavailable at the moment." Moyes declined to comment on whether the disciplinary matter had been resolved.
