Inter Milan is reportedly nearing an agreement with Liverpool for midfielder Curtis Jones, with the deal valued at 35 million euros, approximately £30 million. This development follows an earlier rejected offer from the Italian champions in June.

Liverpool had turned down a verbal proposal of 25 million euros (£21.7 million) from Inter. The Premier League club has been valuing Jones, who has one year remaining on his current contract, at around £35 million. Sources suggest that a £30 million package is likely to lead to an agreement between the two clubs, though both sides indicate that further details require discussion.

Liverpool is understood to be open to selling Jones and is seeking a transfer fee comparable to the £30 million Inter paid for Djed Spence from Tottenham. The Serie A club had previously expressed interest in Jones in January, proposing a loan with an option to buy, but Liverpool declined that offer.

Jones has made 228 appearances for Liverpool since his debut in 2019 under then-manager Jurgen Klopp. Last season, he featured in 49 matches across all competitions but started only 18 Premier League games, struggling to establish a consistent starting position in midfield under current manager Arne Slot. Jones, who joined Liverpool's academy at the age of nine, is reportedly seeking a new challenge. If the transfer is completed, he would become the third English player to join Inter Milan this summer, following John Stones and Djed Spence.
