Stoke City centre-half Luke Graham and Sevilla striker Robbie Ure are poised to receive their first full Scotland call-ups as new head coach Sebastien Pocognoli prepares to announce his maiden squad. The announcement is scheduled for Tuesday at 11:00 BST.

Since Pocognoli's appointment as Steve Clarke's successor, there has been an expectation that the Belgian would aim to refresh an aging squad. Clarke resigned following Scotland's failure to advance from the group stages of a major tournament for the first time. Pocognoli, formerly the head coach of Hearts, is reportedly keen to secure players like Ure, who is also eligible to play for Ukraine. Ure, 22, has yet to score for his Spanish club, but the new manager may be looking to integrate him into the national team setup.

There is also confidence from Wouter Vrancken, the head coach of Heart of Midlothian and Pocognoli's countryman, that several players from his Gorgie club will be included in the squad. The attacking trio of Hearts striker James Wilson and wingers Calvin Miller and Josh McPake have garnered praise for their recent performances, with former Scotland captain Scott Brown also expressing high hopes for the wingers' contributions to their team's strong start to the season.

Pocognoli will manage Scotland for the first time on Saturday, September 26, in the Nations League B opener against Slovenia. His debut in the Hampden dugout will be followed three days later by a match against Switzerland.
