The U.S. men’s national team will be without Gio Reyna for their CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinal against Haiti after the midfielder was withdrawn from the roster due to injury. Reyna sustained a thigh knock during his club team Strasbourg’s loss to Toulouse on Friday.

Stoke City midfielder Jack McGlynn has been named as Reyna’s replacement. This marks the second injury-related roster change for the USMNT in recent days, following the earlier substitution of center back George Campbell with Mark McKenzie.

Reyna’s absence could significantly impact the USMNT’s lineup. He has been a consistent starter for Strasbourg in Ligue 1 this season, recently scoring his team’s only goal in their last match. He was also a key performer during the USMNT’s September/October camp, starting in all four victories.

McGlynn, who has 13 caps for the USMNT, has been playing regularly for Stoke City in the English Championship, scoring in three consecutive games. His last appearance for the national team was over a year ago in friendlies against Japan and South Korea. He was also part of the 2025 Gold Cup squad.

The USMNT is scheduled to face Haiti in the first leg of their quarterfinal next Saturday in Miami.
