Gabriel Jesus has completed a transfer deadline day move from Arsenal to Barcelona, signing a three-year contract with the Spanish champions. The 29-year-old Brazilian striker was a member of Arsenal's Premier League title-winning squad last season.
Jesus joins Barcelona following the departure of Robert Lewandowski at the end of the previous season. He initially moved to Arsenal in 2022 after six successful seasons with Manchester City, during which he won four league titles. Despite an injury-plagued period at Arsenal, he was part of the squad that ended the club's 22-year wait for an English league championship.
His transfer to Barcelona marks the latest arrival in a busy transfer window for the club, which also saw deals for Anthony Gordon, Rodri, Joao Cancelo, Karim Adeyemi, and Dominik Livakovic.
