FIFA is selling segments of the field intended for the 2026 World Cup final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for $450 apiece. The governing body for soccer is offering these "pieces of the pitch" as collectibles through its official store.
According to FIFA's store, each segment is permanently preserved in acrylic and comes with a USB keepsake. The product description states that each piece contains an "original fragment of the iconic Final playing surface," marketed as a unique collectible for fans and enthusiasts of the sport. The acrylic display includes an authenticity film. The item is presented in a hinged shoulder box with spot UV detailing.
Orders for these pieces of the pitch will not be shipped until after the World Cup 2026 Final concludes. FIFA has stated that shipping is available only to addresses within the United States and Europe.
Players and coaches have previously voiced criticism regarding the quality of the playing surface at MetLife Stadium, which typically hosts artificial turf for NFL games involving the New York Giants and Jets. Alongside the sale of turf pieces, FIFA is also offering tickets for the final match at prices reaching up to $32,970, with hospitality tickets priced at $34,500 and $32,500.
