A fan wearing Chicago Cubs gear disrupted the game between the Cubs and the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards on Wednesday night, entering the field of play in the bottom of the ninth inning. The incident occurred with two outs as Orioles first baseman Pete Alonso was at bat.

Home plate umpire Adrian Johnson noticed the fan on the left field warning track, prompting a brief pause in the game. Initial footage showed the individual appearing confused before beginning to dance and raise their arms. Spectators at the stadium responded with boos.

Security personnel escorted the fan off the field, eventually handing them over to a uniformed police officer who continued the escort behind home plate. The fan continued to receive boos as they were led toward an exit.

"Everybody's gonna leave the ballpark tonight, and you'd rather not leave it in handcuffs, but that will be the case for one fan at least," Orioles play-by-play announcer Kevin Brown commented during the event.

The game resumed shortly after the fan was removed. Alonso then hit a ground ball along the first base line, which was fielded by Cubs first baseman Michael Busch for the final out of the game. The Chicago Cubs secured a 9-7 victory.
