Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has adopted a new hairstyle, trading his signature long locks for a buzz cut.
Haaland showcased the updated look in a short Instagram video released Sunday morning. Fans will see the new style when Manchester City faces Bournemouth in their Premier League opener.
Throughout his career, Haaland has experimented with his hair, sometimes wearing it in a ponytail and other times letting it fall freely. This buzz cut represents a new aesthetic for the 26-year-old forward.
Following Manchester City's World Cup quarter-final run with Norway, Haaland enjoyed a summer break. His holiday activities included spending time with Umar Kamani, founder of Pretty Little Thing, on a yacht in the French Riviera, and taking a boat trip around Sicily. During this period, Haaland also met basketball legend Michael Jordan. This meeting was reportedly facilitated by a friend of Kamani.
Haaland and Kamani were seen at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. The striker recently commented on Snapchat that he felt his brain was "fried" after playing 67 games for club and country last season.
