Kelci Rose-Bowers, the English girlfriend of Argentina national team defender Marcos Senesi, shared her conflicted feelings after Argentina's World Cup semifinal victory over England. The 22-year-old, who previously played college soccer for the LSU Tigers and now plays for Bournemouth FC's women's team, was present at the match in Atlanta.

Rose-Bowers detailed her experience in an Instagram post following the game. "Well that just happened… Of course a crazy experience with a lot of mixed emotions, one I won’t forget," she wrote, accompanying the text with English and Argentine flags. She added, "I am proud of how far England have come and of course my partner for reaching the WC FINAL 😍😍 See you in NYC🔜."

The post included a collage of photos from the game, featuring a selfie with Senesi. Although she appeared to be in the Argentina section, Rose-Bowers wore a neutral black sweatsuit, not displaying team colors. Senesi was on the bench during the semifinal match.

Argentina's advancement to the World Cup final sets up a match against Spain. Rose-Bowers' allegiances will likely be clear as she supports her boyfriend in the championship game.
