Former England footballer Emile Heskey, 48, has reportedly ended his marriage to Chantelle Tagoe and is now in a relationship with Jade Slusarczyk, according to multiple reports.
Heskey and Tagoe married in 2014. The pair appear to have separated, with Heskey recently featured in social media posts with Slusarczyk. These posts include shared pictures of the couple embracing and celebrating Heskey receiving his England legacy cap.
Slusarczyk, 39, who was previously linked to snooker player Jimmy White, has publicly shared her support for Heskey on social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook. In January, she posted a birthday message for Heskey, referring to him as "one of life's good ones, a real Special Soul."
Tagoe has confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that she is divorcing Heskey. The couple share seven children across their two marriages. Heskey has four children with Tagoe: Jaden, Reigan, Milanna, and Mendes. His eldest children, Jamaal, Micah, and Liyah, are from a previous relationship. Jaden and Reigan, aged 19 and 17 respectively, have made senior debuts for Manchester City.
Heskey's relationship with Slusarczyk reportedly began sometime before February 2024, as he has not appeared on Tagoe's Instagram feed since that month. There were no prior public reports of separation or divorce.
In separate news, Heskey has reportedly been involved in a multi-million-pound legal dispute concerning a business deal. The retired striker was the public face for a £15 million plan by businessman Craig Gabriel to acquire a stake in Cypriot club Apollon Limassol. Heskey visited the club's stadium in August and was slated to become director of football. Gabriel later withdrew from the deal, and Apollon Limassol is now pursuing legal action against him in Cyprus and the UK for £8 million. Heskey is not accused of any wrongdoing, but the club and its legal team intend to question him regarding his role and communications with Gabriel.
