Seattle Storm center Dominique Malonga made history during the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game on July 25, becoming the youngest player to dunk in the event's history. The 20-year-old secured the milestone in the second quarter, catching a pass from Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese.
Maloinga's dunk marks her as the seventh player in league history to record a dunk in an All-Star Game. She is the first player to achieve this feat since WNBA legend Sylvia Fowles in 2022. While Malonga has yet to record a regular-season dunk in her 63 WNBA games with the Storm, her ability to get above the rim has been evident in previous games in Europe and Unrivaled. She showcased her dunking ability shortly after being the second overall pick in the previous year's draft during her debut practice with Seattle.
Malonga is currently averaging 16.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in her second WNBA season. Prior to the game, her teammate Flau'jae Johnson humorously stated she would not speak to Malonga if she did not complete a dunk during the All-Star showcase.
