Novak Djokovic experienced a health scare during his first-round match at the US Open on Sunday, vomiting on court before battling back to win the match.
The world No. 4, competing in Queens, New York, was seen darting off court and vomiting during the third set of his match against Argentina's Mariano Navone. The incident occurred while the set was tied 3-3. Djokovic, however, refused to retire from the match and went on to win two of the next three games.
This latest health issue follows a previous struggle at the Cincinnati Open, where the 39-year-old Serbian dealt with heat exhaustion during his second-round exit.
Djokovic ultimately dropped the first set against Navone but rallied to take the next two sets, securing the victory.
