Following England's goalless draw against Ghana in Boston, midfielder Declan Rice was observed in the stands with his girlfriend Lauren Fryer and their three-year-old son, Jude. The couple was also seen holding an infant. Representatives for Rice and Fryer declined to comment on whether they had welcomed another child.
Rice, 27, and Fryer, also 27, appeared joyful as they spent time with their children. Jude was born in August 2022, an event Rice marked with a tattoo dedicated to his son, featuring his name, birth date, and zodiac sign.
Fryer attended the match at the Boston Stadium, which was her first World Cup appearance of the tournament. She had previously missed England's opening match against Croatia. Rice played the entire 90 minutes of the game against Ghana.
The couple, who are childhood sweethearts having met at school in London, have been together since they were 17. Fryer has supported Rice throughout his career, including his transfer to Arsenal in July 2023 for a reported £100 million. She has publicly expressed pride in his achievements, including his Young Player of the Year award in 2019.
Fryer also attended the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the 2024 Euros in Germany. She had previously stepped away from social media and watching games due to online trolling and chants from the stands, but has more recently been seen celebrating Arsenal's Premier League title win.
