Taylor Ward, wife of Algerian footballer Riyad Mahrez, shared a lighthearted moment from the World Cup where their two-year-old daughter, Mila, was more focused on creating TikTok videos than watching her father score. Algeria faced Austria in a World Cup match over the weekend, which ended in a dramatic 3-3 draw, securing Algeria's advancement to the knockout stage thanks to two goals from Mahrez.

Mila, who is set to turn three this week, was in the family's VIP suite at Kansas City Stadium with Ward and other relatives. A video shared by Ward shows Mila dressed in an Algerian jersey, actively filming herself dancing and singing to the camera. The sound of cheers from the surrounding crowd eventually startled the toddler, who was then lifted up to join in the celebration for her father's goals.

Ward, who has been accompanying Mahrez throughout the World Cup in the US, expressed her excitement about the match, captioning a series of photos with "what a feeling." For the game, she wore a white leather jacket adorned with the Algerian flag and carried a Hermes mini Birkin bag valued at approximately £24,000.

Taylor Ward's father, former footballer Ashley Ward, was also present, showing his support for his son-in-law by wearing an Algeria jersey. The family is preparing to travel to Vancouver for Algeria's upcoming match against Switzerland on Friday.

The couple and their two children reside in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, having relocated in 2023 when Mahrez made a reported £30 million move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli. Their time is divided between their Jeddah residence and Dubai, where Taylor's mother, Dawn Ward, resides.

Mahrez's team, Al-Ahli, secured the Asian Champions League title in April. To celebrate, the footballer reportedly gifted custom Rolex watches, each costing £17,000, to his teammates. Mahrez is the highest earner at Al-Ahli, with an annual salary of approximately £44 million.
