Soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo is set to produce and star in a new scripted television drama titled "Day 1s." The series is being developed in collaboration with director Matthew Vaughn, known for films such as "Kingsman" and "X-Men: First Class."

The drama is based on an original concept from soccer agent Darren Dein and will feature a fictional UK soccer agent named Stanley Dalton, portrayed by actor Damian Lewis. Ronaldo will serve as an executive producer and also appear in the series alongside former French forward Thierry Henry and musician Dave.

The storyline for "Day 1s" is said to explore themes similar to "The Playoffs," a recent Brazilian series that focused on the world of sports agencies.

This project represents the inaugural television release from UR•Marv Studios, a joint venture established between Ronaldo and Vaughn's Marv Studios. Filming for the series is already underway in London. UR•Marv Studios has independently financed the project and has also completed production on two sports films.

Ronaldo, currently playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, has embarked on this new venture following Portugal's exit from the World Cup in the round of 16.
