Cristiano Ronaldo quickly resumed his scoring form for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, netting a goal in his first appearance since the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Ronaldo entered the match as a substitute and scored in the 83rd minute, just 22 minutes after coming onto the field.

Receiving a pass from Ayman Yahya on the right wing, Ronaldo skillfully shielded the ball before scoring with his left foot. This goal marks his first of the 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season and his 977th career goal. Al-Nassr began their league campaign with a 3-0 victory over Al Fateh on Saturday, August 15th, and currently lead the table.

Al-Nassr secured the Saudi Pro League title last season, which ended a five-year drought for major club trophies for Ronaldo. He indicated last week that the current season would "probably" be his last, with his contract with Al-Nassr set to expire in June 2027.
