Chelsea has completed the signing of Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarria on a five-year contract. The transfer fee is reported to be around £16.3 million, with additional add-ons.
Chavarria's arrival at Stamford Bridge effectively replaces Marc Cucurella, who has departed for Real Madrid. The deal was finalized on August 12, 2026.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United continues its pursuit of Benfica defender Amar Dedić.
