Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren reunited on Friday to celebrate their son Charlie's commitment to play college golf at Florida State University, starting in 2027.
Charlie Woods, a senior at the Benjamin School, officially signed his letter of intent during a ceremony attended by both parents. Tiger Woods and Nordegren posed for photos in Florida State colors alongside Charlie's coach, Toby Harbeck. Nordegren has reportedly been a consistent presence throughout her son's high school golf career.
The Benjamin School is a private institution in Palm Beach, Florida. Charlie Woods aims to conclude his high school career with a third state championship title in four seasons.
Tiger Woods has been actively involved in his son's development, caddying for him, offering tips to his teammates, and attending all his state championship competitions. He has also been credited with significantly improving Charlie's short game.
Looking ahead, Tiger Woods is expected to return to professional golf, with potential appearances in December. He has not competed since missing the cut at The Open in 2024 due to injury and legal issues. He may participate in the Hero World Challenge (December 3-6), the PNC Championship (December 17-20) alongside Charlie, or the TGL season opener on December 27.
Woods previously pleaded no contest to DUI charges from March 2025 and received a five-year driving ban. He underwent a period of rehabilitation following the incident.
