Cass Rooney, the eight-year-old son of former England captain Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen, has adopted a new hairstyle for the summer holidays, taking inspiration from Brazilian football icon Ronaldo.
The distinctive haircut features a shaved head with a small semi-circle at the front, a style famously sported by Ronaldo during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Coleen Rooney shared images of the new look on social media, captioning them with "Summer holidays.... Hair style fun!!!"
Cass is the youngest of the Rooney's four children, joining brothers Kai, 16, Klay, 12, and Kit, 10. His football aspirations appear to be developing, as he recently celebrated a summer league victory with his team, posing with the silver trophy.
His elder brother, Kai, who plays as a forward for Manchester United's youth academy, recently showcased his own fitness transformation. Despite being sidelined for the remainder of the season due to an injury sustained in March, Kai has been focusing on his fitness regime during the off-season. He shared his disappointment about the injury on Instagram, stating, "Disappointed to be out for the rest of the season. Back stronger next pre-season."
Kai is eligible for a professional contract with Manchester United next season after earning his first scholarship. In March, he signed with super agent Triple S Sports, an agency headed by Paul Stretford, Wayne Rooney's long-term agent. The agency also represents other notable players, including Manchester United defender Harry Maguire and Everton's James Garner.
Earlier in the year, Kai was instrumental in helping Manchester United's U16s secure the Premier League Shield title, with Wayne and Coleen Rooney in attendance to support him. He also recently played in his first match at Old Trafford, participating in an FA Youth Cup tie.
