Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Carson Beck impressed in his preseason debut during the 2026 Hall of Fame Game against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, and his sister, Kylie Beck, shared her positive assessment on social media.
Kylie Beck, a cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins, posted "That's how it's done" on her Instagram Story, accompanying the comment with a video of her brother throwing a touchdown pass to wide receiver Simione Tufui Fehoko in the second quarter. The game took place in Canton, Ohio.
Beck, who was drafted by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, completed 15 of 19 passes for 188 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions, finishing with a quarterback rating of 125.4. Despite the Cardinals' 33-30 loss, Beck demonstrated timely throws, accuracy, and composure in the pocket.
Prior to the game, Kylie Beck also shared a snapshot of her 24-year-old brother walking to Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, writing "It's game time!!" with a clapping emoji.
Beck, a two-time national champion with the University of Georgia, is slated to be the Cardinals' third-string quarterback behind Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew II. He helped Georgia reach the national championship game last season.
"It feels great to go in and succeed and execute within the offense," Beck said after his first NFL start. "And, obviously, there's going to be things to fix. You got to go watch the tape and there's always so much room to improve, even just being a rookie, being a new guy and kind of getting my first taste of the league."
Beck had expressed surprise about starting, telling reporters before the game that he "had no clue" he would be getting the start. "Obviously, I thought I was going to play but I really didn't have any expectations going into any of this. Obviously, our schedule is absolutely crazy right now, practice, meetings. But I'm looking forward to it."
The Cardinals are scheduled to begin their regular season on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, September 13.
