Tennis player Carlos Alcaraz was recently photographed on a yacht off the coast of Italy with Spanish entrepreneur and digital marketing professional Claudia Canals, fueling speculation about a relationship. Photos emerged Monday of the pair on a boat with other companions along the Italian coastline.
Canals posted on social media a bikini photo with a caption that appeared to confirm the vacation. "I’m pretty good at tennis too; my serve lets me down a bit, but I’m working on it," she wrote in Spanish. The photos, reportedly taken earlier this month near the Amalfi Coast, showed Alcaraz and Canals interacting closely, including touching faces and playfully pushing each other into the water.
Alcaraz and Canals have not publicly confirmed their relationship. The recent outing follows rumors from last year that Alcaraz was linked to Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader during the U.S. Open in 2025. Nader, when asked about dating both Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner at the time, commented on the fluidity of modern dating.
In other recent public appearances, Alcaraz attended the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina. He was seen congratulating Spanish star Lamine Yamal after Spain's victory.
Alcaraz previously made headlines in May after withdrawing from the French Open and Wimbledon due to a right wrist injury sustained at the Barcelona Open. It remains uncertain if he will be ready to compete in the upcoming U.S. Open.
