New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan is preparing for the upcoming NFL season with the expectation that it will be his last. After 15 seasons in the league, Jordan re-signed with the Saints for one more year, aiming to achieve a lifelong dream: winning a Super Bowl.

Jordan, who recorded 10.5 sacks in the 2025 season, expressed confidence in his physical condition and his ability to contribute to the Saints' defense under new leadership. He noted that he feels good and that skipping Organized Team Activities (OTAs) has been beneficial physically. Jordan stated he is versatile and can fulfill whatever role is needed for the team, referencing his effectiveness in a two-point stance last season.

"The ultimate dream is to win a Super Bowl," Jordan told Fox News Digital. "You go into childhood, coming out of childhood, like, ‘Man, I want to be just like the greats.’ For some reason, we accumulate the idea of success in football to winning a Super Bowl because it’s the ultimate team sport. That’s the ultimate team dream."

Since being drafted 24th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, Jordan has played his entire career with the Saints. He has accumulated 132.0 career sacks, placing him 17th all-time. A key personal goal for his potential final season is to reach double-digit sacks for the eighth time in his career, which would place him in the top 10 all-time in that category.

"You look at Year 16 — this is who I am. This is my body of work. It has never changed," Jordan said. He also expressed strong confidence in his Pro Football Hall of Fame credentials, suggesting he has already accomplished enough to warrant enshrinement.

"Personally speaking, I’ve done it all. All-Pro, Pro Bowls. Hell, I put together a Pro Bowl-esque season last year," Jordan added, reflecting on his career achievements.

Jordan, who will turn 37 during the upcoming season, is focused on giving his maximum effort in what he anticipates will be his final year in the NFL.
