Bryson DeChambeau has voiced strong conviction regarding the longevity of LIV Golf, stating he is "100 percent" sure of its future. The golfer also expressed a hope that LIV Golf and the PGA Tour can eventually coexist rather than operate as adversaries.

DeChambeau's remarks came after he finished his opening round at LIV Golf New York, held at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster. He carded a 5-over-par 77, a performance that left him visibly frustrated as he missed fairways and greens with inconsistent distance control. Following his round, which placed him 12 shots behind leader Joaquin Niemann, DeChambeau headed directly to the practice facility.

Despite his performance on the course, DeChambeau's focus remained on the broader future of professional golf. His ultimate aim is for a landscape where LIV Golf and the PGA Tour can operate in harmony. He hopes for a future where these entities are not in direct competition, suggesting a potential path towards reconciliation or integration within the sport.
