New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson was seen at Yankee Stadium on Friday night, taking in the Yankees' 2-1 loss to the Dodgers. Brunson sported a customized Yankees hat with the slogan "KNICKS IN 5" emblazoned on the side, a nod to the team's recent NBA championship.

Earlier the same day, Brunson attended Fanatics Fest. As a self-proclaimed lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, he declined to sign a Dallas Cowboys helmet, instead writing "Go Birds" on it.

The appearance follows a week of accolades for Brunson. He received three ESPY awards on Wednesday at Lincoln Center, recognizing his achievements from the past calendar year. Brunson was honored for Best Championship Performance, Best Male Athlete, and Best NBA Player. The Knicks organization also received two awards, winning Best Team, and teammate OG Anunoby earned Best Play for his Game 4 tip-in during the NBA Finals, which helped secure a 29-point comeback victory for New York.

Following the conclusion of the playoffs, Brunson underwent wrist surgery on his shooting hand. He revealed this week that he had experienced pain during the postseason. He is expected to be fully recovered in time for the start of training camp in late September.
