BetMGM is offering new users a First Bet Cover of up to $1,500 for Tuesday night's NHL schedule. This promotion allows new customers to place their first wager on any NHL game, and if the bet loses, BetMGM will refund the stake in bonus bets.
The feature game for Tuesday's slate is the matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and the New Jersey Devils. The Devils, playing at home in Newark, are favored in the game. This is largely due to the strong performance of their goalie, Connor Hellebuyck, who has posted a 1.50 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage in his first two games with the team. In contrast, the Oilers' Tristan Jarry has a .901 save percentage despite a 4-1-2 record and two shutouts.
The Oilers boast forwards Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, who are considered among the league's best. They are also noted for their effectiveness on the power play. The Devils won the last meeting between the two teams, 2-1, in January.
BetMGM has set the odds with the Oilers moneyline at +135 and the Devils at -155. The total is set at over/under 6.5 goals, with the under priced at -125.
